Of the two Sony APSC cameras listed here, this model is lighter and features a built in flash. It is also cheaper by around $500 USD. However, this model does NOT have a headphone port (it does have a microphone port). It also has a much smaller battery with a lower capacity, meaning much shorter shooting time per battery. Due to the tilting screen, you will need an external monitor to monitor your image, if you need to use accessory on the hot-shoe (it will block the screen).
